- Wash and Soak rice and dal for overnight


- In morning drain rice and dal, grind it with ginger-garlic- chilli to make a fine paste.


- Add very little water while grinding. We need idli batter like consistency.

- Chopped all vegetables and mix them with prepared batter.



- Heat oil in tadka pan splattered mustard seeds and curry leaves. Add tadka, salt and eno in prepared batter. Mix everything well. Heat Appam pan, greased it with oil. Fill batter In each cavity. keep the flame on low. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes, flip appams, again cover and cook another side for 2 minutes.



- Rice Appam is ready. Serve hot with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
