  2. 2 -Cans pink salmon, Deboned, and juices set aside
  3. 1 pkg. sesame seed buns or buns of choice
  4. 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs; crackers finely processed
  5. 1 red onion; (thin sliced)
  6. 1/4 slice each of green & red peppers; finely diced
  7. 1 small finely diced onion
  8. 1-2 sliced tomatoes; (thin sliced)
  9. 1 lettuce leaf; (whole or sherdded)
  10. 1 tsp. Fresh parsley; (finely chopped)
  11. 1 tsp. Old Bay seasonings
  12. 1 tsp. Garlic powder
  13. 1/4 tsp. Kosher Salt
  14. 1/4 Tsp. Freshly ground black pepper
  15. 1 tsp. Salmon & Lemon juice
  16. 1 Tbsp. Real butter
  17. Special Cajun Sauce:
  18. 1 (5 oz.) Plain yogurt
  19. 1/4 cup; finely chopped cucumbers
  20. 1/8 cup; finely chopped onions
  21. 1 tsp. Cajun seasonings; (I use "slap ya mama")
  22. 1/8 tsp. Hot sauce; (Louisiana Hot sauce)
  23. Pinch salt & pepper to taste

Steps to make to make Pan-Seared Salmon Burgers

  1. In a large bowl mix together all ingredients except salmon juice & lemon juice and sliced tomatoes and lettuce.
  2. In a small bowl; Mix together salmon & lemon juices; set aside.
  3. Add salmon & lemon juice mixture to the salmon mixture; mix well. Set aside.
  4. In another small bowl; mix together special sauce ingredients well; and set aside.
  5. Patty together salmon mixture into small size patties; (3" size) (Makes about 8 to 10 patties)
  6. In a skillet; melt 1 tbsp. Butter over medium-high heat;
  7. Add patty and cook until a crust forms; then flip it over and form a crust on the other side. (About 5 minutes per side).
  8. Remove to a paper towel.
  9. Lightly butter top and bottom of hamburger buns; then toast them in the skillet buttered sides down.
  10. Remove from skillet; layer salmon burger on bottom half first, then add sliced tomato, lettuce leaf,and then spread special sauce on top half of bun and gently place it on top and lightly press down..... serve & enjoy!
